Urban Flame is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated double dry-hop profile featuring Talus, Citra, and Azacca hops. The sensory experience begins with a deep, opaque luminosity and a dense white head. An intense aromatic bouquet bursts with tropical notes of pineapple and mango, layered with the unique herbal and floral accents characteristic of the Talus hop. On the palate, the soft, velvety texture delivers a rush of stone fruit and citrus flavors. A gentle, bready malt backbone provides balance, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish with a restrained, integrated bitterness that emphasizes depth and drinkability.
Appearance. Straw to gold color (4–6 SRM) with a characteristic hazy, opaque shine. Displays a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with dominant notes of tropical mango, papaya, and bright citrus grapefruit from the Citra and Azacca. Subtle floral and herbal nuances emerge from the Talus. The malt character is low, clean, and bready, with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with tangerine, melon, and stone fruit. Malt flavor is low to medium, providing a neutral, grainy base. Perceived bitterness is moderate and smooth, lacking any harshness. The finish is off-dry to medium with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or hop burn is present, though a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is detectable.
