Leoncia P29 is a classic Weissbier that captures the traditional essence of Villalba’s brewing spirit. This 5% ABV wheat beer presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by a harmonious balance of yeast-driven esters and phenols. Expect a prominent bouquet of ripe banana and spicy clove that rises above a soft, bready foundation of malted wheat and Pilsner malt. The palate is refreshingly light yet creamy, offering a fluffy texture and high effervescence that cleanses the tongue. With its characteristic hazy gold appearance and persistent white foam, it delivers a clean, dry finish that emphasizes drinkability and authentic German tradition.
Appearance. Straw to gold (SRM 3–5). Hazy with a notable yeast cloudiness and a thick, moussy, long-lasting white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Strong notes of ripe banana esters and spicy clove phenols are well-balanced against a background of grainy, bready wheat and a hint of sweet Pilsner malt.
Taste. Initial impression of soft wheat and bready malt followed by a balanced interplay of banana and clove. Very low bitterness allows the yeast character to shine. Finishes dry and refreshing with a lingering hint of spice.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a distinctive fluffy, creamy fullness. High carbonation creates a spritzy, effervescent sensation on the palate without any harshness or alcohol warmth.
