Belgian Tripel 8.4 º 15 IBU
Leffe Triple is a quintessential Belgian Tripel, showcasing the complexity of bottle conditioning. A naturally hazy, golden pour releases a vibrant bouquet of banana, ripe pineapple, and peach esters, underscored by peppery phenols and a subtle touch of coriander and orange. The palate is robust yet refined, balancing Pilsner malt sweetness with a firm bitterness and distinct notes of lemon and vanilla. Despite its 8.4% ABV, the body remains medium-light and effervescent, finishing remarkably dry and refreshing. This monastic ale seamlessly blends fruity yeast character with spicy nuances, delivering a sophisticated sensory profile that masks its strength with deceptive drinkability.
Appearance. Deep yellow to golden color (approx. 6 SRM) with a characteristic slight haze from bottle refermentation and yeast sediment. Features a tall, dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and significant Belgian lacing.
Aroma. High intensity bouquet featuring a complex blend of fruity esters—specifically banana, peach, and pineapple—alongside citrus notes of lemon and orange. Distinct spicy phenols reminiscent of clove and coriander provide depth, supported by a light, grainy-sweet malt base and a subtle hint of floral hops.
Taste. An initial impression of honey-like malt sweetness is quickly balanced by firm bitterness. Layers of vanilla and lemon zest emerge, complemented by spicy peppery notes and a medley of tropical fruits. The finish is notably dry and clean, with a lingering spicy-fruity yeast character and a well-integrated, soft alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body that feels surprisingly light for the gravity. Highly carbonated and effervescent with a creamy texture. Alcohol warmth is noticeable but smooth and deceptive, lacking any harshness or astringency.

Leffe Tripel – 8,5 % – Tripel – Serveringstemperatur 6-10 gr.
