Летний полдень в Брюсселе. Узкие улочки старого города наполнены ароматами свежей выпечки, пряностей и легкого дуновения цитрусовых. В одном из уютных кафе на площади перед фонтаном с озорным Manneken Pis сидел пожилой бельгиец с седой бородой и задумчиво вертел в руках бокал с мутновато-золотистой жидкостью.
— Ты когда-нибудь пробовал Blanche de Bruxelles? — спросил он молодого туриста за соседним столиком.
Парень отрицательно покачал головой, и старик с улыбкой подозвал официанта:
— Два бокала, холодных!

Французско-язычный регион Бельгии, провинция Валлонский Брабант, район Ребек (Rebecg) деревня Кенаст (Quenast) , берег Сенны. Здесь крупнейшие в Европе залежи Порфира-горной породы багряно-пурпурного оттенка.
Где залежи – там старатели, где старатели – там жажда, где жажда, там, в 1876 году местный фермер Жюль Лефевр удачно построил пивоваренный завод и сеть пабов в шаговой доступности от карьеров.
Идея Жюля была обречена на успех и …..Светлое Прохладное Бельгийское пиво потекло вдоль Сенны в карьеры старателей…..С годами поток замено усиливался….вплоть до 1916 года, до Первой Мировой Войны.
Пришедшие немцы демонтировали и вывезли оборудование завода.
Спустя 5 лет в 1921 году, сын Жюля – Огюст и внук Гастон Лефевр проявили унаследованную коммерческую хватку предка. Обновленная пивоварня Lefebvre в полной мере использовала все достижения технического прогресса в области пивоварения и реки пива вновь пролились по пересохшим руслам, вплоть до Второй Мировой Войны. Война и Сухой закон придушили движение практически во всех пивоварнях. Но Lefebvre выжили и в этот раз!!!
С 1953 по 1987 семейное предприятие становится крупнейшим трейдером. Теперь Пьер и Филип Лефевры представители 4 и 5 поколения династии взяли на себя ответственность за доброе имя пивоварни. В сложной конкурентной борьбе Lefebvre выходит на международный рынок. С 1983 года к делам компании были допущены представители женской половины семейства Лефевров.
Сегодня, Поль Лефевр сын Филиппа и его сестра Селин, подхватили эстафетную палочку в шестом поколении, чтобы двигать вперед семейное предприятие инновационным путем!!!
