A firm, clean bitterness balances the delicate malt sugars, culminating in a dry, crisp finish that leaves a lingering trail of resinous Citra character.
Appearance. Brilliant, shimmering gold (6-8 SRM) with a medium-sized, persistent white head and excellent clarity.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, lime peel, and fresh herbal notes. A low to medium-low malt presence of honey and light breadiness from the Golden Promise provides a clean, supportive base with no significant yeast esters.
Taste. Leading with a medium-high hop flavor of citrus and tropical fruit, the palate is backed by a clean, grainy malt sweetness. Bitterness is firm and assertive but not harsh. The fermentation profile is clean, leading to a dry finish with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, refreshing texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and a very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present without any astringency.
