The aroma is dominated by rich, bready-toasty malt and dark honey, intertwined with fragrant vanilla and charred oak. On the palate, a lush profile of caramel, toffee, and caramelized sugar is elevated by the distinct sweetness of maple and a touch of bourbon warmth. Notes of plums and raisins provide a fruity depth, while the honey adds a smooth, floral complexity. The finish is long and luxurious, balancing a hint of grainy roast with lingering maple syrup and refined spirit character.
Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown with brilliant ruby highlights; a creamy, tan head forms but fades to a persistent ring, leaving noticeable legs on the glass due to the high alcohol content.
