Dreamthief is a colossal Imperial Stout that commands attention with its obsidian pour and dense tan foam. At 11% ABV, the sensory journey is led by intense aromas of espresso, bittersweet chocolate, and dark fruits like figs and prunes. The extensive aging in Bourbon whisky barrels introduces sophisticated layers of toasted oak, vanilla, and a smooth spirituous warmth that integrates seamlessly with the roasted malt backbone. On the palate, it is viscous and velvety, offering a complex interplay of charred grain, molasses, and subtle caramel. The finish is long and warming, leaving a lingering impression of dark cocoa and refined bourbon character.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). Thick, persistent dark tan head with excellent lacing. High viscosity produces visible legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and black licorice. Significant Bourbon barrel character including vanilla, charred oak, and a hint of coconut. Low dark fruit esters of raisin and plum.

Taste. Intense and multi-layered; bittersweet cocoa and espresso-like roast are balanced by rich malt sweetness. Distinctive bourbon notes of oak and spirituous vanilla. Medium-high bitterness that prevents a cloying finish. Aftertaste is long, featuring roasted grain and warming alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Low to moderate carbonation. Noticeable, smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated and never harsh.
