Laugar and La Pirata present Bright Light, a collaborative India Pale Lager that reimagines the crisp structure of a German Pils through a modern, hop-forward lens. While the primary description specifies a hazy appearance, it retains the style's signature straw-to-yellow hue and creamy white head. The aroma is highly intense, led by vibrant citrus and resinous hops over a clean, cracker-like malt base. At 6.2% ABV, the palate experience is defined by a firm, lingering bitterness and a dry, refreshing finish. It balances the precision of a clean lager fermentation with the bold, fruit-forward complexity of a contemporary India Pale Lager.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-4 SRM). Hazy to opaque, deviating from traditional pilsner clarity. Features a thick, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Forward hop character featuring citrus zest, pine, and tropical notes. Low grainy, doughy, and cracker-like malt sweetness provides a foundational support. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters or phenols.

Taste. Initial crisp malt flavor of toasted crackers is quickly overtaken by assertive hop flavors of grapefruit and lime. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but clean, leading into a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste is lingering with a touch of mineral sharpness and citrus resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a slight silkiness from the haze. Moderate-high carbonation. Should not feel heavy; provides a refreshing, well-attenuated mouthfeel with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
