This collaboration Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory profile defined by the rich interplay of dark roasted grains and tropical indulgence. An assertive aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and toasted coconut leads into a viscous, jet-black body. The palate is dominated by bittersweet chocolate and espresso, while the coconut provides a creamy, nutty sweetness that rounds out the intense roasted bitterness. Noticeable alcohol warmth supports the complexity without being harsh. The finish is long and velvety, balancing charred malt depths with a lingering toasted sweetness, creating a harmonious and robust experience typical of a well-crafted, modern take on the style.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). Crowned with a dense, persistent dark tan head that leaves thick lacing. High viscosity is visible as legs when swirled.

Aroma. High intensity with dominant notes of freshly ground coffee and sweet, toasted coconut. A rich malt foundation provides scents of dark chocolate, black licorice, and slightly burnt grain. Very low earthy hops and subtle dark fruit esters like raisin or prune are tucked behind the adjunct-forward profile. Smooth, well-integrated alcohol.

Taste. Intense initial impression of bitter espresso and creamy coconut. The malt profile offers deep layers of cocoa, molasses, and toasted bread. Bitterness is medium-high, derived from both roasted grains and hops, providing a firm balance to the residual sweetness. The coconut adds a nutty dimension that softens the charred grain character. The finish is lingering and moderately sweet with a warming, bittersweet aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is moderate-low, enhancing the beer's weight. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without any solvent-like harshness.
