Moonlighting is a potent Double IPA that showcases the unique Eggers Full Moon Harvest Hop with an intense sensory profile. The pour delivers a concentrated aromatic burst of dank resin, zesty white grape, and bright citrus. These layers are underpinned by a massive presence of green tropical fruit, lending a lush complexity. Despite its robust 8.4% strength, the beer remains exceptionally juicy and thick on the palate, balancing a firm bitterness against a clean, supportive malt base. This New Zealand-influenced powerhouse finishes with a lingering, vibrant hop resonance that defines its harvest-driven character.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (SRM 7–10). Pours with a slight, natural haze as it is unfiltered and unfined. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, white to off-white head with good lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent dank and resinous notes. Layers of zesty citrus, white grape, and green tropical fruits like mango and papaya dominate. Clean, neutral malt provides a faint grainy background with a light fruity fermentation profile.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of grapefruit, dank pine, and tropical fruit. Bitterness is high but smooth, providing a firm counterpoint to the thick, juicy character. Malt is supportive and clean with no significant caramel or toast. Finishes medium-dry with a long, resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, thick texture. Moderate carbonation. A smooth, warming alcohol presence is noticeable but well-integrated. Very low hop-derived astringency.
