This light-bodied American IPA delivers an assertive hop profile far exceeding its 3.4% stature. Intense layers of mango, passionfruit, and tangerine emerge from a potent blend of Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Idaho 7 hops. The sensory experience is dominated by these tropical and citrus notes, which are supported by a faint, cracker-like malt backbone. Despite the low gravity, it maintains the aromatic intensity expected of the style, leading into a refreshingly crisp and clean dry finish. It offers a punchy hop presence with high drinkability, capturing the essence of a modern, hop-forward ale in a sessionable format.
Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM) with brilliant clarity and a persistent, fine-beaded white head that leaves decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical mango and guava from Mosaic and Idaho 7, complemented by Citra-driven grapefruit and Amarillo's floral orange. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness is barely perceptible in the background.
Taste. Assertive hop flavors of stone fruit and citrus zest lead the palate. The malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a lean platform for the hops. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, balancing the light body. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a crisp, smooth texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a refreshing bite. No alcohol warmth is present.
