Fire in the Disco is a vibrant modern American IPA that showcases a sharp collision of resinous and fruit-forward hop characters. Utilizing the innovative High Voltage yeast from WHC Lab, the beer presents an exceptionally clean fermentation profile that allows the nuanced hop and grain components to shine without interference. Pungent aromas of fresh pine and succulent tropical fruit lead into a palate defined by the distinctive, tart edge of gooseberry. A crisp, lean malt foundation supports a firm bitterness synonymous with the West Coast style, concluding with a remarkably dry, refreshing finish and a lingering aromatic trail.

Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, frothy white head that leaves decorative lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of resinous pine, zesty tropical fruit, and a sharp, berry-like gooseberry character. The malt is low and clean with a light crackery quality, supported by a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and pine needles, followed by a punchy gooseberry tartness. Bitterness is firm and clean, well-balanced by a light bready malt backbone. The finish is decidedly dry and crisp, with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, lean texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively and refreshing mouth-cleansing effect. Alcohol warmth is very subtle and well-integrated.
