This West Coast style American IPA showcases a vibrant 2024 harvest of New Zealand hops, delivering an intense sensory experience. Bright Motueka provides sharp crushed citrus notes, while Rakau adds layers of tropical fruit and Nelson Sauvin contributes its signature gooseberry and white wine character. The aromatic profile is underpinned by a clean, light malt presence that allows the Southern Hemisphere hops to dominate. On the palate, a firm bitterness balances the fruit-forward start, leading into a classic herbal pine finish. It is a refreshing, hop-centric ale that captures the essence of fresh-crop vitality with a crisp, dry conclusion.

Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, white, persistent head that leaves significant lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by New World characteristics: lime zest, white grape, and gooseberry. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the fruit, while a hint of pine and tropical stone fruit adds complexity. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with crushed citrus and tropical fruit flavors. A medium-high bitterness immediately follows, cutting through a light, bready malt backbone. The finish is dry and crisp, highlighted by a lingering herbal pine and resinous aftertaste typical of the West Coast style.
