This vibrant American Pale Ale delivers an evocative sensory experience of "sunshine fruits," centered on a contemporary hop profile. The use of Idaho 7 provides a base of ripe stone fruit and subtle resinous pine, while Bru-1 contributes its characteristic bold pineapple punch. Citra rounds out the bouquet with bright layers of grapefruit and lime zest. A clean, neutral malt backbone offers just enough support to ensure balance without distracting from the tropical hop intensity. Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent pineapple, apricot, and mango. These tropical notes are supported by a citrus-forward zestiness and a faint hint of pine. The malt character is low and neutral, providing a light grainy sweetness, while fermentation remains clean with minimal esters.
Taste. The palate is led by an immediate burst of tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and peach, followed by a citrusy middle. Malt flavors are subtle and bready, avoiding caramel sweetness to maintain a crisp profile. Bitterness is moderate and firm, providing structure. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering fruit-skin hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, smooth texture from the unfiltered proteins. Carbonation is moderate to high, creating a refreshing, lively sensation on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
