Ta Meilleure is a quintessential Hazy IPA that leads with an explosive sensory profile driven by the iconic duo of Citra and Mosaic hops. The aroma is saturated with layers of tropical mango, crushed pineapple, and bright citrus zest. Its signature appearance is a glowing, opaque orange topped by a persistent, meringue-like white head. On the palate, the juicy hop intensity is supported by a soft, bready malt backbone and a mellow, pillowy body that masks its 7% strength. The finish remains smooth and fruit-forward, with a restrained bitterness that emphasizes the lush, saturated hop character and clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. SRM 4–6. Color ranges from deep straw to a glowing light amber with an orange hue. Opaque, uniform haze with a luminous quality. Features a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, mango, and stone fruit. Prominent Citra notes of grapefruit and lime mingle with Mosaic's berry-like and tropical character. Low, bready malt in the background with no caramel; clean fermentation with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor consistent with the aroma, emphasizing citrus juice and tropical nectar. Low to medium grainy-sweet malt flavor. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, balanced by a medium-full body. Finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Features a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and an absence of any harshness or hop-derived astringency.
