This California Common pours a clear copper, delivering an inviting aroma where herbal, resinous hop notes mingle with a subtle sweetness from Washington-grown cracked corn. Utilizing LINC Malt, the profile is defined by a sturdy base of crackery barley and distinct honeyed graham cracker notes. A touch of roasted malt provides a deeper color without the weight of heavy char. The palate is clean and crushable, balancing the grain-forward sweetness with a firm, traditional bitterness. It finishes dry and crisp, showcasing a rustic, woody character typical of the style while highlighting the unique agricultural terroir of Spokane.
Appearance. Medium amber to light copper (10–12 SRM). Generally clear with a moderate off-white head featuring good retention and light lacing.
