Daisy is a vibrant Super Session Beer that belies its modest 2.8% ABV with a punchy, personality-forward profile. This Experimental Beer opens with an aromatic burst of modern tropical hops, offering lush notes of passion fruit, guava, and bright citrus. A deliberate, light acidity provides a refreshing zesty lift, harmonizing with a delicate, round body that prevents the low-alcohol base from feeling thin. Much like its pug namesake, it packs immense character into a petite package, finishing crisp and clean with a lingering hint of tropical zest. It is a masterclass in flavor density and technical balance.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a frothy, white head that shows moderate retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring prominent tropical fruit esters. Notes of mango, pineapple, and citrus zest dominate. A clean, subtle lactic tang is present, backed by a very low, crackery malt note.
Taste. The initial impression is bright and quenching. Tropical hop flavors of passion fruit and grapefruit are supported by a soft, tart acidity. Malt flavor is low, resembling fresh white bread or crackers. Bitterness is low but sufficient to balance the slight malt sweetness. The finish is dry, crisp, and highly refreshing.
