Gravedad Cero is an intensely aromatic Hazy IPA that delivers a lush, juicy sensory profile through its use of concentrated Cryo hops. The collaborative effort highlights the synergy between Citra Cryo, Talus Cryo, and Ekuanot Cryo, resulting in a complex bouquet of pink grapefruit, ripe mango, and delicate rose petals. The beer pours with a characteristic opaque glow and a soft, pillowy texture. On the palate, a wave of tropical fruit and bright lime is supported by a neutral, bready malt foundation. It concludes with a smooth, restrained bitterness and a clean finish that emphasizes fresh hop vibrancy over alcohol heat.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (approx. 5 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze providing a characteristic shine. Topped with a thick, rocky, white meringue-like head that shows excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant tropical notes of mango and pineapple from Citra Cryo, floral rose and grapefruit pith from Talus Cryo, and a hint of sweet melon from Ekuanot Cryo. Malt is low, presenting as clean, neutral dough, while fermentation esters are subtly fruity and supportive.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of citrus, stone fruit, and tropical berry. The malt provides a low, grainy sweetness that balances the hop oils. Bitterness is low-medium and exceptionally smooth, lacking any harsh or grassy edges. The finish is off-dry to medium, leaving a lingering impression of tropical juice.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but not distracting. Free from astringency or any raw starchiness.
