This unique collaboration, described as a fusion between a Lager and an IPA, presents a robust take on the German Pils style. It features an elevated malt backbone and an intensified hop presence resulting from a warm fermentation at 18ºC. Expect a profile defined by a balance of rich, grainy-sweet malts and a potent, spicy, and herbal hop character. The increased strength provides a slightly fuller presence than a traditional example, yet it maintains a crisp, clean lager finish. It celebrates a bold, bitter harmony that bridges the gap between traditional European techniques and modern craft intensity.
Appearance. Deep yellow to pale gold; brilliant clarity with a thick, long-lasting, creamy white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pronounced floral, spicy, and herbal notes. Behind the hops lies a moderate grainy-sweet and doughy malt character reminiscent of fresh toasted crackers. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. High hop bitterness immediately hits the palate, supported by a sturdy, grainy malt sweetness. Flavors of herbal and spicy hops are dominant, leading into a very dry, crisp, and refreshing finish. The bitterness is firm and lingers pleasantly in the aftertaste.
