This celebratory German Pils deviates from tradition by infusing a classic, crisp lager base with bold American hop varieties. On the nose, Centennial and Columbus hops provide a vibrant layer of citrus, grapefruit, and resinous pine over a clean, doughy malt foundation. Visually, it pours a brilliant straw-gold with a dense, persistent white head and excellent clarity. The palate follows with a sharp, refreshing bitterness that cuts through light toasted cracker notes, leading to a bone-dry and mineral-accented finish. It is a light-bodied, highly carbonated tribute that masterfully balances European lagering technique with New World aromatic intensity.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring citrus, floral, and resinous notes from the American hops. Low grainy, sweet, and doughy malt character. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light grainy malt flavor is quickly overcome by a firm hop bitterness and flavors of grapefruit and pine. Medium-high bitterness that lingers into a crisp, dry finish. Clean lager character with a light mineral edge.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing; no alcohol warmth and no astringency.
