This Wee Heavy presents an approachable interpretation of the classic Scottish style, characterized by a prominent profile of caramelized sugar and rich, bready-toasty malt. Despite a moderate 6% ABV, it maintains a round and inviting presence on the palate. Deep layers of toffee and English biscuits are complemented by subtle, spicy nuances and light dried fruit esters like plum and raisin. The finish is remarkably smooth, balancing sweet malt depth with a gentle, grainy roast character and a touch of warmth, staying true to the traditional Scotch Ale heritage while remaining exceptionally drinkable.
