This Hazy IPA presents an intense tropical bouquet driven by a sophisticated blend of Citra, Cashmere, Cascade Cryo, and Sabro. The Citra and Cashmere hops deliver a vibrant foundation of mango, lime, and melon, while the Cascade Cryo provides bright grapefruit and floral highlights. Sabro introduces its signature creamy coconut and stone fruit complexity, creating a lush, multi-layered sensory experience. A soft, grainy malt profile supports these flavors without competing. The beer finishes with a gentle, smooth bitterness and a pillowy texture, emphasizing the juicy, fruit-forward character and hop biotransformation typical of the style.
Appearance. Color is straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with a distinctive opaque haze and a luminous shine. It features a persistent, dense, white meringue-like head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by mango, pineapple, and creamy coconut. Complementary notes of lime zest, grapefruit, and peach are present, backed by a neutral, lightly bready malt character and subtle fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring tropical fruits, melon, and coconut. The malt flavor is low and bready, providing a neutral base. Bitterness is low to moderate and integrated smoothly into the soft, off-dry finish. The aftertaste is clean, emphasizing lingering fruit rather than harsh hop resins.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and rounded mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. It is smooth and lacks any harshness, astringency, or acidic twang, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
