This Hazy IPA celebrates the singular profile of Riwaka hops from the Motueka River, delivering a concentrated burst of pink grapefruit, passionfruit, and zesty tropical citrus. The sensory experience is defined by an intense juiciness and a soft, pillowy texture typical of the style. The malt provides a clean, lightly bready foundation without any caramel sweetness, allowing the unique Riwaka character to remain the focal point. It pours with a luminous, opaque haze and a thick, rocky white head. The palate offers a smooth, medium-full mouthfeel with a restrained bitterness that yields to a refreshing, fruit-forward, and slightly off-dry finish.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM); opaque, hazy clarity with a healthy shine; thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of pink grapefruit, passionfruit, and citrus zest from the Riwaka hops; background of clean, grainy, and lightly bready malt; neutral fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. High fruity hop expression echoing the aroma—specifically passionfruit and tropical citrus—supported by a low, grainy malt presence. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-mild due to the soft body. Finishes off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruit character and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture; medium carbonation; smooth with no hop-derived astringency; light, well-integrated alcohol warmth at 6.5% ABV.
