This Hazy IPA is a vibrant showcase of the Nectaron hop, utilizing both Cryo and T90 formats to deliver an explosive sensory experience. The pour reveals a luminous, straw-colored opacity topped by a dense, meringue-like head. On the nose, intense waves of ripe peach, pineapple, and passionfruit dominate, backed by a subtle, bready malt foundation. The palate follows with lush stone fruit and tropical notes, where the signature Nectaron character shines against a soft, medium-full body. A restrained bitterness ensures a smooth, juice-like finish, while the clean fermentation profile allows the complex hop oils to take center stage.
Appearance. SRM 4. Opaque, straw-gold with a radiant haze. Generous, rocky, white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant stone fruit including peach and nectarine alongside tropical notes of pineapple and passionfruit. Secondary notes of citrus zest. Malt is supportive and clean, suggesting fresh flour or light bread. Esters are fruity and well-integrated with the hop profile.
Taste. Massive fruity hop flavors mirroring the aroma, focusing on fleshy peach and tropical fruit. Low, grainy malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and rounded due to the grain bill. The finish is off-dry and clean, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice without any harshness or grassy notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation. No astringency or raw starch texture. A very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
