This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey led by a lush, double dry-hopped profile. The Motueka hops deliver an immediate zing of fresh lime zest, while the Mosaic BBC contributes deep layers of ripe mango and subtle blueberry. Strata adds a complex dimension of passion fruit and a hint of dank herbal depth, all brightened by the intense grapefruit and citrus punch of Citra Cryo. The sensory experience is defined by a saturated tropical fruit character that floats over a soft, bready malt foundation. It concludes with a gentle, juice-like finish that emphasizes hop saturation over sharp bitterness, capturing the essence of the modern style.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, opaque straw color with a brilliant golden shine. Features a thick, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical and citrus notes; prominent lime, mango, and passion fruit. Background notes of bready malt and a clean, neutral fermentation profile without any caramel or toast presence.
Taste. Explosive flavors of ripe tropical fruit and citrus follow the aroma. Medium-low bitterness is exceptionally smooth and well-integrated into the soft mouthfeel. The malt provides a soft, grainy base that supports an off-dry finish with a lingering, saturated juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very light alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency or raw starch harshness.
