This Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory profile centered on a robust 11% ABV frame. Deeply roasted malts offer foundational notes of bittersweet chocolate and espresso, which are elevated by the rich, creamy addition of coconut. The inclusion of Ugandan Planifolia vanilla pods introduces a luxurious, aromatic sweetness that bridges the gap between the charred grain and dark fruit esters like raisins and prunes. This interplay results in a complex, warming experience where the intense bitterness is tempered by the oily, velvety texture of the adjuncts, leading to a lingering, harmonious finish of dark cocoa and spice.

Appearance. SRM 40+; jet black and opaque. Forms a dense, persistent dark tan head with fine bubbles and significant lacing. High viscosity is apparent in thick legs that cling to the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Rich roasted malt character of espresso, dark chocolate, and light char. Prominent sweet vanilla (Ugandan Planifolia) and toasted coconut. Secondary notes of dark fruit esters (dried figs and raisins) with a clean, noticeable alcohol warmth.

Taste. Intense and complex initial impression of bittersweet chocolate and burnt sugar. The malt profile is heavy on roast and cocoa, supported by a creamy, authentic coconut flavor and floral vanilla bean sweetness.
