La Superbe GORRI reimagines the classic Gose as a decadent, fruit-laden spectacle. This vibrant red ale leads with an intense bouquet of Cerise and Cassis, supported by the delicate sweetness of Fraise and Framboise. The signature saline character of the style provides a savory counterpoint to the sharp lactic acidity, while additions of Cacao and Ugandan Vanilla beans weave a velvety, chocolate-laced texture throughout the mid-palate. Though it carries a robust 7% alcohol by volume, the high carbonation maintains a refreshing lift, finishing with a complex interplay of tart berry skins and a smooth, lingering vanilla sweetness.

Appearance. Deep magenta to opaque ruby red (SRM 30-35); produces a moderate, pink-tinted head with fair retention and light lacing; significantly hazy to opaque due to heavy fruit and adjunct additions.

Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring a complex medley of tart blackcurrant and cherry. Subtle notes of sweet strawberry and raspberry follow, underscored by earthy cocoa and rich, floral vanilla. A clean lactic tartness is prominent, with very low bready wheat malt and no hop character.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply acidic and fruit-forward, dominated by the flavors of cherry and blackcurrant. A noticeable but restrained mineral salt character provides a mouthwatering mid-palate. Low bready malt flavor is present but secondary to the fruit. The finish is dry and tart, yet softened by a lingering Ugandan Vanilla sweetness and a touch of dark chocolate from the cacao. No hop bitterness or flavor.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, which is heavier than a traditional version due to the fruit density and adjuncts. High carbonation provides an effervescent, prickly sensation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth. The salt and acidity create a tingly, mouthwatering quality, while the vanilla adds a creamy roundness.
