Stream is a vibrant Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Outer Range, showcasing an intense aromatic profile driven by a trio of heavy-hitting hops. Nelson Sauvin provides distinct notes of white wine grapes and gooseberry, while Strata adds layers of passion fruit and a subtle dankness. Simcoe rounds out the experience with hints of bright citrus and earthy pine. The beer presents a lush, tropical bouquet over a soft, bready malt base. With its signature opaque glow and a silky, pillowy texture, it delivers a punchy yet smooth fruit-forward experience that finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness.
Appearance. Glowing straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM). Opaque, hazy appearance with a soft "shine." Topped with a dense, white, meringue-like head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Explosive aromas of passion fruit, crushed gooseberry, and sauvignon blanc grapes. Secondary notes of bright orange zest and a touch of resinous pine. The malt is subtle, offering a gentle crackery or bready backdrop. Fermentation esters are pleasantly fruity, harmonizing with the hop profile.
Taste. A deluge of tropical fruit including mango and passion fruit, followed by nuances of white grape and light citrus. Low bready malt sweetness supports the hops without becoming cloying. Perceived bitterness is moderate but smooth, lacking any vegetal or harsh hop bite. The finish is soft and juicy with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, pillowy mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Entirely smooth with no hop-derived astringency or harshness.
