This celebratory Double IPA radiates an intense bouquet of modern New World hops, amplified by a generous double dry-hopping for this special anniversary edition. The sensory profile is a saturated tapestry of ripe tropical fruit, zesty citrus, and a clean resinous undertone. A neutral, grainy malt base stays in the background, ensuring the hops remain the undisputed protagonist. On the palate, a firm, assertive bitterness is expertly balanced by the beer’s lean structure, leading to a crisp, dry finish. At 7.8% ABV, it delivers a smooth, well-integrated warmth that enhances the vibrant hop-forward character of this anniversary release.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper in color with a slight haze from the heavy dry-hopping. Features a moderate-sized, persistent white head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of tropical fruit, citrus zest, and resinous pine. A supportive, neutral, grainy maltiness sits in the background with a very clean fermentation profile.
