This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by a lush dry-hop combination of Citra and Ekuanot. The appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous golden glow, supported by a complex grist of Golden Promise and Pils malts alongside Oats, Chit, and Cara for a soft, pillowy structure. Aromas lead with intense notes of tropical mango, lime zest, and subtle papaya, uniquely complemented by the fruity and slightly rustic esters of Kveik yeast. On the palate, the mouthfeel is silky and medium-full, delivering a juicy explosion of citrus and stone fruit with a restrained, smooth bitterness and a clean, off-dry finish.
Appearance. Straw to light golden (3-6 SRM). Opaque, hazy clarity with a characteristic 'shine' and no visible particulates. Massive, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring mango, lime, and tropical melon. The Kveik yeast contributes a distinctive fruity ester profile of orange peel and soft stone fruit. A bready, grainy malt backbone from the Golden Promise provides a solid foundation without any caramel or toast.
Taste. Initial impression is overwhelmingly fruity and 'juicy.' High hop flavors of grapefruit, berry, and papaya. Low to medium-high bitterness that is softly perceived and never harsh. The malt flavor is low, presenting as fresh bread and light grain. Finish is smooth and off-dry with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and silky texture derived from the high oat and chit malt content. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
