This modern interpretation of a German Pils balances classic European lager crispness with an expressive Southern Hemisphere hop profile. A lean, crackery Pilsner malt foundation supports vibrant tropical and white wine nuances driven by Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, and Motueka hops. Aromas of freshly cut grass, gooseberry, lime zest, and passionfruit mingle with a subtle minerally backbone. The palate begins with a light, doughy malt sweetness before an assertive, clean bitterness cuts through, culminating in an ultra-dry, highly refreshing finish. It masterfully bridges the gap between clean continental lager fermentation and vibrant New Zealand hop complexity.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2-3 SRM), brilliant clarity, with a thick, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves delicate lacing.
