This sessionable Micro IPA offers a remarkably vibrant hop profile despite its light, highly approachable stature. Dominated by the bright, tropical punch of Galaxy hops and the bold citrusy zest of Citra hops, the aroma bursts with notes of passionfruit, ripe peach, and fresh grapefruit rind. Underneath, the unique addition of Sorachi hops introduces a delicate, intriguing nuance of lemongrass and soft herbal dill. A lean, pale malt backbone ensures the bright lupulin character takes center stage, delivering a crisp, dry finish. It offers the classic hop-forward soul of an American IPA scaled down into an incredibly refreshing, low-alcohol package.
Appearance. Light gold to medium gold (SRM 4-6) with a slight, persistent haze. Crowned by a generous, frothy white head that exhibits moderate retention and leaves light, patchy lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma displaying tropical fruit notes of passionfruit and mango, alongside bright citrus zest. A background herbal hint of lemongrass and dill is present. Low, clean, crackery and grainy malt sweetness supports the hops, with an exceptionally clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and remarkably crisp. Low, neutral pale malt flavor offers a light bready canvas for bold hop flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, and a unique herbal lemon-tea character. Bitterness is moderate but firm, well-suited to the light body. Finishes very dry and clean, with a short, refreshing, lightly bitter aftertaste of citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, creating a lively mouthfeel. No alcohol warmth whatsoever, and completely free of any harsh, astringent hop burn.
