This American IPA embodies the classic West Coast profile, delivering an assertive and complex sensory journey. The aroma is dominated by a resinous pine character from Chinook, seamlessly integrated with the citrus and stone fruit notes of Simcoe. Layers of strawberry and dank tropical fruit emerge thanks to the Strata hops. Visually brilliant with a persistent white foam, the palate follows the nose with a firm, clean bitterness and a lean malt backbone. It finishes crisp and dry, allowing the hop-derived grapefruit and evergreen flavors to linger. A well-attenuated, hop-focused experience that balances modern fruitiness with traditional resinous intensity.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM), brilliantly clear. White, medium-sized head with excellent persistence and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine, grapefruit, and passionfruit, with a distinct dank, strawberry-like herbal note. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness in the background. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Immediate high hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of pine needles, citrus zest, and tropical fruit. Medium-low grainy malt support with very light toast. Firm to high bitterness. Finish is dry and clean with a long, hoppy, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No astringency.
