Electric is a high-voltage American IPA that pulses with the vibrant aromatic intensity of modern hop technology. The sensory profile is dominated by the interaction between Citra and Nelson Sauvin, delivering a saturated punch of white grape, gooseberry, and bright lime. The inclusion of Citra Cryo and Subzero Kief Nelson Sauvin amplifies the hop resin and tropical fruit layers without adding vegetal harshness. A clean, lean malt backbone allows the complex fruit character to remain the focus. Appearance. Color is a brilliant medium gold (7 SRM) with a very slight, modern haze. It supports a medium-sized, rocky white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white wine grape, gooseberry, and passionfruit from the Nelson Sauvin. This is layered with grapefruit, lime, and peach from the Citra. Very low, clean bready maltiness is present in the background, alongside a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward and bright, showcasing flavors of tropical fruit, crushed grapes, and citrus zest. The bitterness is medium-high and clean, providing a sharp structural counterpoint to the low, grainy malt. The finish is notably dry and crisp, with a lingering aftertaste of resinous hops and citrus peel.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture likely enhanced by hop oils. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated; no astringency is present.
