La Source Beer Co. Anguille V4

This vibrant Hazy IPA bursts with an intense, juice-forward profile driven by a precise double dry-hopped blend. The addition of Citra delivers explosive waves of sweet mango and bright pink grapefruit, while Cryo Idaho7 introduces layers of ripe stone fruit and sticky pine resin. Grounding these tropical high notes, the rare Elixir hop contributes complex nuances of white peach and a subtle, soft floral undertone. Together, they float over a soft, pillowy malt base, delivering a beautifully saturated hop experience that is incredibly refreshing, highly aromatic, and showcases a refined, modern bitterness.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold in color (3-5 SRM) with a luminous, glowing opacity and characteristic hazy shine, free of yeast clumps or settling particulates. It supports a thick, pillowy, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and beautiful, dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by a lush bouquet of tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, and bright citrus. Low, sweet, bready-grainy malt serves as a neutral backdrop. Yeast character is clean and supportive with light, fruity esters of pear and peach that complement the massive hop profile. Completely free of raw green hop burn, diacetyl, or DMS.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of juicy tropical fruit and sweet citrus pulp, followed by notes of yellow peach and soft pine. Low, neutral bready malt flavors support the heavy hop loading. Perceived bitterness is restrained and exceptionally smooth, never harsh or astringent. The balance is heavily hop-forward, finishing off-dry and soft with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body that avoids being heavy or cloying. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, velvety texture without any prickly carbonation bite. Features a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth appropriate for its strength, with zero hop-derived astringency or harshness.
