La Quince Brewery

This modern Hazy IPA delivers an intense, juicy sensory experience driven by an aggressive hop regimen and thiolized yeast. A vibrant bouquet of tropical fruit and bright citrus erupts from the glass, showcasing the specific synergy of Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7. These varieties provide layers of mango, blueberry, and stone fruit, while a kettle addition of American Nugget ensures a foundational, yet restrained, bitterness. The use of Cryo hops and specialized fermentation emphasizes essential oils, resulting in a saturated, punchy profile. Supported by a soft, grainy malt backbone, the finish is smooth and remarkably fruit-forward, defining the contemporary essence of the style.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with a characteristic opaque, luminous haze. It supports a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit and guava from the thiolized yeast. Significant citrus zest and grapefruit notes from Citra blend with the complex berry and earthy notes of Mosaic. Idaho 7 adds supporting stone fruit and a hint of pine. Malt character is low, bready, and neutral.

Taste. High-impact tropical and citrus fruit flavors leading with pineapple and peach. The bitterness is low to moderate and cleanly integrated via American Nugget, lacking any harshness. Malt flavor is lightly grainy and serves to support the hop oils. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth, featuring a lingering juice-like aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. It possesses a smooth mouthfeel without any hop astringency or raw starch texture; alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
