This gluten-free Session IPA is a focused showcase of the Citra hop variety, delivering a punchy aromatic profile within a highly drinkable frame. The sensory experience is lead by bright notes of squeezed lime, grapefruit zest, and tropical mango, supported by a lean, crackery malt backbone. Despite its lighter stature, it maintains the assertive hop-forward balance typical of an American IPA. A crisp, dry finish and lively carbonation accentuate the citrus bitterness, making for a refreshing and hop-centric palate that remains clean and approachable throughout. It successfully captures the essence of a larger IPA while prioritizing high drinkability and aromatic intensity.
Appearance. Pale gold (4-6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, bright white head with good persistence and light, soapy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Citra characteristics including grapefruit, lime, and passionfruit. A low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral base, while the fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with no detectable esters.
