This Hazy IPA is a vibrant showcase for the classic Chinook hop, reimagining its traditional resinous profile within a soft, modern framework. Pouring a luminous, opaque straw-gold, the beer greets the nose with an intense bouquet of grapefruit peel and fresh pine needles, layered over subtle tropical stone fruit esters. The palate is defined by a plush, velvety mouthfeel provided by flaked grains, which carries flavors of bright citrus and the distinctive resinous spice characteristic of Chinook. The bitterness is restrained and smooth, leading to an off-dry finish that emphasizes juice-like drinkability over sharp edges, making it a refreshing, hop-forward experience.

Appearance. 3-6 SRM. Color ranges from straw to golden-orange with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. Supports a medium-to-large, white, meringue-like head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, spicy pine, and resin from the Chinook, supported by moderate esters of peach and tropical fruit. The malt character is low, presenting as clean, bready, and grainy in the background.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with grapefruit, pineapple, and a touch of resinous pine. Malt flavor is low and supportive, suggesting fresh dough or grain. Bitterness is medium-low and very smooth, well-masked by the soft body. The finish is off-dry and fruity with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft, and somewhat creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
