This Hazy IPA from La Pirata Brewing presents a vibrant sensory journey defined by a massive dry-hop addition of Centennial and Amarillo. The hop profile leads with a refreshing burst of zesty lemon and floral grapefruit from the Centennial, which seamlessly blends into the lush orange and apricot notes characteristic of Amarillo. Underneath this fruit-forward intensity, a soft, grainy malt backbone provides a supportive structure without any distracting caramel or toast. It pours with a signature opaque shine and a creamy white head, offering a silky, approachable character. The finish remains smooth and juicy, emphasizing modern hop aromatics over sharp bitterness.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (4–6 SRM) with a characteristic opaque, hazy shine. Features a medium, rocky, white meringue-like head with high retention and persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma showcasing a complex blend of floral and citrus notes. Prominent scents of orange and ripe stone fruit from Amarillo pair with the lemon-peel and light resinous character of Centennial. Background malt is clean, neutral, and lightly bready.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor reflecting the orange, citrus, and apricot found in the aroma. The perceived bitterness is moderate, well-masked by the soft, off-dry finish and medium-textured malt. Very low grainy malt flavor persists through the middle. The aftertaste is clean and fruit-forward with no harsh or astringent hop bite.
