This modern American IPA, crafted in collaboration with the Pink Boots Society, delivers a bold sensory tribute with a vibrant, hop-forward character. A medium gold pour releases intense aromas of tropical fruit, citrus zest, and a delicate floral lift, characteristic of contemporary hop selections. On the palate, a firm and clean bitterness asserts itself, balanced by a lean, grainy malt backbone that allows flavors of pineapple and grapefruit to flourish. With its dry finish and smooth texture, it captures the assertive yet refined spirit of its namesake, Jantipa, offering a powerful and refreshing experience that remains impeccably balanced.
Appearance. Medium gold in color with a slight, modern haze. It is topped by a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (mango, papaya) and citrus (grapefruit, tangerine) with a light floral undertone. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background with no caramel or toast.
Taste. High hop flavor featuring citrus and tropical notes that mirror the aroma. Bitterness is high and clean, providing a firm structure. The malt flavor is low and bready, supporting the hops without adding significant sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, contributing to a crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated.
