Incursión Nocturna is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures the essence of a tropical summer night. Dominated by a double dry-hop addition of Sabro and Mosaic hops, the sensory experience is a lively burst of shredded coconut, ripe pineapple, and sweet berries. These hops weave together a complex tapestry of stone fruit and citrus, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Its appearance is a glowing, hazy straw gold topped with a persistent white head. On the palate, the bitterness is notably restrained, allowing the juicy fruit character to shine through a smooth, medium-full body. The finish is clean yet fruit-forward, making for a refreshingly joyful and aromatic escape.
Appearance. Color is pale straw to light gold (4-5 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that gives the liquid a luminous shine. It is crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity and deeply aromatic, leading with distinct notes of coconut and cream from the Sabro hops, followed by a punchy tropical medley of pineapple, mango, and blueberry from the Mosaic. A background of clean, grainy malt provides a subtle bready foundation, while fermentation esters remain neutral to support the massive hop profile.
Taste. An immediate wave of tropical fruit flavors, featuring tangerine, stone fruit, and a hint of cedar-like spice. The Sabro provides a unique creamy coconut sweetness that complements the citrus and berry notes of the Mosaic. Bitterness is low to moderate and smoothly integrated, never harsh. The malt is light and bready, leading to a soft, off-dry finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and moderate carbonation. There is no astringency or hop burn, providing a smooth and accessible drinking experience. At 5.8% ABV, the alcohol warmth is negligible, enhancing its refreshing character.
