This Hazy Session IPA offers a vibrant, summery profile characterized by an intense double dry-hopping of Citra and Ekuanot. Despite its lower strength, the aromatic impact is high, bursting with bright lime, lemon zest, and tropical fruit notes. The appearance is distinctly turbid with a luminous golden hue. On the palate, the hop-forward character provides a refreshing citrus punch supported by a delicate, doughy malt foundation. A restrained bitterness ensures high drinkability, leading into a crisp, clean finish. This light-bodied ale captures the essence of a modern American IPA in a highly accessible, sessionable format.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-5 SRM). Distinctly hazy to opaque clarity with a dense, persistent white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of lime, lemon zest, and tropical melon from the Citra and Ekuanot additions. Low, grainy, cracker-like maltiness supports the hops. Clean fermentation profile with very low fruity esters and no detectable alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and refreshing. Flavors of fresh citrus peel and green melon dominate the palate. Malt flavor is low, providing a clean, bread-dough background.
