This collaborative Hazy IPA, born from a virtual partnership between La Pirata and Polly’s Brew Co., is an exercise in extreme hop saturation. Utilizing an aggressive triple dry-hopping rate of 41 grams per liter, the sensory profile is dominated by an intense, multi-layered explosion of tropical fruit, succulent stone fruit, and bright citrus. The massive hop load creates a distinctively juicy experience without the sharp bitterness found in traditional West Coast styles. Beneath the fruit-forward aromatics, a clean, grainy malt base provides essential structure. It finishes with a soft, lingering fruitiness and the characteristic pillowy texture that defines the New England-style approach.

Appearance. SRM 3-5. Straw to light gold color with an opaque, hazy appearance and a soft shine. Features a medium-high, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of mango, pineapple, and ripe peach with a supportive citrus zest. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as lightly bready or grainy, while fermentation esters are fruity and well-integrated.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors. Malt flavor is low, providing a simple bready backbone. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, never harsh or grassy. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, lush texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any astringency or raw starch character.
