This Double IPA presents a bold, hop-forward profile led by a heavy charge of Simcoe, Cascade, and Summit. The aroma is an intense rush of resinous pine, zesty grapefruit, and tangerine, supported by a clean, neutral malt base. On the palate, the hop bitterness is firm and assertive, delivering layers of citrus rind and passion fruit that transition into a dry, crisp finish. At 8% alcohol, it offers a smooth, well-integrated warmth without becoming heavy or sweet. It captures the essence of a modern powerhouse, balancing high drinkability with a lingering, complex hoppy aftertaste driven by its classic American hop varieties.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper color with excellent clarity. It supports a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pine resin and grapefruit from the Simcoe and Cascade, alongside a sharp tangerine and spicy citrus character from the Summit. Malt presence is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy backdrop with minimal fermentation esters.

Taste. The flavor is dominated by hop-derived citrus rind, resin, and floral notes. Bitterness is high but not harsh, well-balanced by a light, supportive malt character that avoids caramel sweetness. It finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and a faint, smooth alcohol flavor.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite that enhances the dry finish. There is a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength.
