La Pirata ¡Ay, Carmela! is an assertive Double IPA that honors its namesake with a powerful sensory impact. The profile is dominated by an intense hop presence, showcasing vibrant notes of resinous pine, ruby grapefruit, and ripe tropical fruits characteristic of New World varieties. Despite its potent 9.3% ABV, the beer maintains excellent drinkability through a lean, neutral malt structure that provides just enough support without introducing heavy sweetness.
