La Petra Tostada is a robust and assertive American Amber Ale that strikes a bold balance between rich maltiness and vibrant, modern hop character. Pouring a clear, deep reddish-copper with amber highlights, the beer delivers an intense aromatic profile dominated by ripe pineapple and lush tropical fruits, backed by a sturdy caramel malt foundation. On the palate, a persistent hop bitterness takes hold immediately and remains through the finish, complementing flavors of toasted grain and sugary caramel. At 6.2% ABV, its medium-full body and lingering hoppy aftertaste make it a powerful, well-structured example of the style.

Appearance. Deep reddish-amber to coppery-brown (SRM 14-16); moderately large off-white head with good retention and light lacing; brilliant clarity.

Aroma. High intensity with deep aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit; moderately-high caramel and toasted malt character; clean fermentation with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial malty sweetness gives way to bold tropical hop flavors; moderate caramel and biscuit malt notes; firm, persistent bitterness that lasts through the sip; medium-dry finish with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body; moderate to high carbonation; smooth finish with a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth; no astringency.
