This Experimental Beer offers a vibrant, non-alcoholic sensory profile designed to mimic a tropical India Pale Ale. The experience is defined by a bright, citrus-forward aromatics and lush tropical fruit notes that lead the charge. Despite the minimal alcohol content, the beer maintains a refreshing crispness with distinct grapefruit and mango characteristics. A light, crackery malt backbone provides a subtle foundation for the hop-derived flavors, culminating in a clean and dry finish. Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (4–6 SRM). Features a frothy, white head with moderate retention and light lacing. Displays a slight haze, typical of hop-heavy styles.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity with a focus on citrus zest, grapefruit, and tropical fruit like passion fruit and pineapple. Very low grainy malt sweetness; clean fermentation with no alcohol presence or wort-like off-aromas.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of orange peel and tropical fruit. A light, bready malt flavor provides minimal sweetness to balance a moderate hop bitterness. The finish is clean, short, and dry with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light-bodied and thin with moderate to high carbonation that provides a refreshing, prickly sensation. No alcohol warmth; very low astringency from the hops.
