Cervezas La Loca Juana

This German Pils offers a refreshing, artisan take on the classic style, pouring a pale gold with a persistent, creamy white head. The foundation is built on Pilsen and Pale Ale malts, accented by a touch of oats that adds a subtle smoothness to its light, crisp frame. The aromatic profile is led by the herbal and spicy elegance of Saaz hops, supported by a clean scent of toasted bread and rustic cereal. On the palate, a firm bitterness from Magnum hops provides structure, cutting through the grainy malt sweetness to ensure a dry, snappy finish. It is a vibrant, sessionable lager defined by its balance and effortless drinkability.

Appearance. Pale gold (3-4 SRM). Persistent, creamy white head with good lacing. Slight artisan haze rather than brilliant clarity.

Aroma. Moderate intensity. Clean grainy-sweet malt character with notes of toasted bread and cereal. Moderate herbal and spicy hop aroma from the Saaz variety. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression of toasted cracker and cereal malt. Mid-palate introduces a firm, clean bitterness from Magnum hops. Noble spicy hop flavors are prominent. Finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering herbal hop note and a clean, bitter aftertaste.
