This Imperial Stout offers a decadent sensory journey, defined by its immense density and complex layering. Intense aromas of espresso and bittersweet dark chocolate merge seamlessly with the floral, sweet perfume of Madagascar vanilla. The addition of French Oak chips provides a structured, woody backbone that balances the massive malt profile. On the palate, it is exceptionally viscous and chewy, delivering deep roasted grains and charred oak nuances before settling into a long, warming finish. The high alcohol content is well-integrated, supporting the lush texture while highlighting notes of dried figs and black currants typical of a traditional Russian Imperial Stout.

Appearance. SRM 40; opaque jet black. Thick, dark brown head with exceptional persistence and heavy lacing. High viscosity is apparent through visible legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant notes of roasted coffee beans and dark cocoa are complemented by the distinct, sweet aroma of Madagascar vanilla and a subtle tannic woodiness from French Oak. Low dark fruit esters of plum and raisin are present alongside a noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth.

Taste. Rich initial impression of dark chocolate and burnt grain. The mid-palate reveals prominent coffee and earthy wood flavors, softened by the creamy influence of vanilla. Firm bitterness balances the residual malt sweetness, leading to a bittersweet, lingering finish with a touch of oak-derived tannin and warming alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full body with a velvety, chewy, and luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. Significant, smooth alcohol warmth is felt in the throat, without being sharp or solventy.
