This barrel-aged expression presents a complex interplay between spicy fermentation phenols and vibrant dry-hopped aromatics. The barrel influence imparts a structured depth, offering faint notes of toasted oak and a delicate vinous quality that complements the classic peppery yeast character. Expect a bright, citrus-forward hop profile that elevates the grainy malt base. Highly attenuated and effervescent, it finishes exceptionally dry, leaving a lingering trail of herbal bitterness and refined woody tannins. Appearance. Pale gold with a slight orange hue (6-7 SRM). Displays a brilliant to slightly hazy clarity from the dry-hopping and unfiltered nature. Topped by a dense, rocky, long-lasting ivory head that leaves persistent Belgian lace.

Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile. Prominent fruity esters of lemon zest and green apple are layered over spicy black pepper phenols. The dry-hopping introduces a fresh, floral, and slightly resinous hop character. Subtle notes of seasoned oak and a hint of vanilla emerge from the barrel aging, supported by a light, crackery malt background.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and dry. Dominant flavors of spicy yeast and citrusy hops lead into a soft, grainy malt mid-palate. The barrel aging contributes a refined woody complexity and a touch of drying tannins. Bitterness is firm and assertive, balanced by the high attenuation rather than residual sugar. The finish is very dry and refreshing, with a lingering aftertaste of herbal hops and peppercorn.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation. There is a light, pleasant alcohol warmth that is well-integrated for 6% ABV. The mouthfeel is crisp and prickly, with a slight tannin-driven astringency from the wood that enhances the dry finish.
